Delete Account – Duoit
If you wish to delete your Duoit account and associated data, please read this document carefully. Your account and all related information can be permanently deleted from our systems.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you request to delete your Duoit account, the following data associated with your account will be permanently removed:
- Your user account and authentication credentials
- Your username, email address, and profile information
- All personal and legal information associated with your account
- Your activity logs and statistics
- Any personal preferences and settings
- Achievement badges and progress records
What Your Partner Can Still See
If you share an account or activity with a partner, they will retain access to:
- Photos and media shared within your partnership
- Trees and forest data you planted or contributed to together
- Tasks and shared activities you completed together
However, your name and personal identification will be removed from these shared items, and your partner will see them as contributed anonymously or by the partnership account.
Data That May Be Retained
In some cases, certain data may be retained for legal, compliance, or operational purposes:
- Anonymized analytics data (cannot be tied back to you)
- Transaction logs required for financial compliance (if applicable)
- Data required by law enforcement or legal obligations
- Backup copies may be retained for a limited period but will eventually be purged
How to Delete Your Account
To delete your Duoit account:
- Open the Duoit app on your device
- Navigate to your Profile or Settings
- Look for “Delete Account” option in the settings menu
- Tap on “Delete Account”
- Review the confirmation message carefully
- Confirm your decision to proceed with account deletion
- Your account will be deleted immediately and permanently
Verification and Security
For security purposes, you may be required to:
- Confirm your email address
- Verify your identity through email verification
- Provide additional authentication if necessary
Alternative to Deletion

- Temporarily disabling account notifications in your settings
